THINGS TO DO IN DA NANG

I unequivocally accept that everybody should attempt to visit Vietnam sooner or later in the course of their life.

It’s a really intriguing country, one filled with such countless fantastic things to see and do, just as interminable new spots to find.

Furthermore, comparably significant, are individuals of Vietnam, who assisted with making our visit so remarkable.

What can we do in Da Nang? Here are some recommendations from us.

  1. Catch the sunrise on My Khe Beach

If you rent a hotel near My Khe Beach in Da Nang, don’t miss an opportunity to refresh yourself after a long sleep and welcome a new day coming with your beloved ones. Voted by Forbes magazine, My Khe beach with 900 meters long coastline is considered the most attractive beach on the planet. The TripAdvisor community has also commented that My Khe Beach is one of the 10 most popular Asian beaches in the world.

After catching the sunrise, you can run along the beach to get exercises, then go swimming and buy seafood home to process. If you like, you can participate in more activities such as: paragliding, paragliding by canoe on the sea, canoe pulling water slides, windsurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving to see corals, …

It seems that My Khe beach is ideal for both adults and children at any time of the year because the waves are calm, the sea is calm and the sea water always brings a beautiful and enchanting blue color. However, according to Da Nang travel experience, the most suitable time is probably still summer, from April to September. Avoid overcrowded times like April 30, May 1. It is best to go on normal days or go in June and July.

  • Make a promise with your lover on Love Bridge

Love Bridge in Da Nang is inspired by famous love bridges in the world such as Italy, France, Russia, Germany. This is a place to prove and promise to couples, the meaning of love locks represents a strong, eternal love. With an arc design, the 68m-long love bridge is likened to a soft silk strip crossing the Han River. Although the bridge is not too long, with its special position and meaning, the bridge still receives many visitors’ love, becoming the love symbol of the city.

What’s better than standing on this bridge with your lover and promising a happy ending? Normally, couples often buy 2 heart-shaped padlocks, place them on the bridge and throw a key away so that nobody cannot open their love locks as well as breaking their love. • Catch the moments when the Dragon Bridge spits fire and spraying water

Inaugurated on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang city (March 29, 2013), Dragon Bridge is the 6th bridge spanning the Han River. With a unique design emulating the shape of a dragon winding on the Han River and facing the East Sea, the dragon’s head is raised and the dragon’s body is winding. Dragon Bridge is the main axis of Da Nang in the East – West direction, is the shortest route, connecting Da Nang international airport with the high-class coastal tourist areas of Son Tra – Dien Ngoc, plays an important role in strategy to develop and complete the city’s urban transport infrastructure. A special highlight of the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang is that it has up to 6 lanes with a bridge width of 37.5m and a length of up to 666m. In addition, the bridge is also built quite elaborately when equipped with a lighting system consisting of a total of 15,000 LED bulbs.

To see the Dragon Bridge spitting fire and spraying water, you should come to Da Nang on two weekends, Saturday or Sunday at 21:00.  There will be 18 flames and 3 water lines coming out of the dragon’s mouth.  Fire will be sprayed first and water later.
