Ngu Hanh Son scenic tourist area (referred to as Marble Mountain for short) is located in the Southeast of Da Nang city, about 8 km from the city center. East Sea bordering the East; The West borders on Co Co River; The South and the North borders the residential area of Hoa Hai Ward. Ngu Hanh Son is a complex consisting of 5 mountains: Thuy Son, Kim Son, Hoa Son, Tho Son, Moc Son, corresponding to the five elements in Chinese Feng Shui.

Huyen Khong Cave

Huyen Khong Cave, located on Thuy Son Mountain is one of the most beautiful caves in the Marble Mountains. The cave is about 30m high. On the ceiling of the cave, there is a circular gap, the light that flows in makes the cave more shimmering and fanciful. On the wall, stalactites flow down to form many interesting animal images.

Linh Ung Pagoda

The most popular pagoda in Da Nang that you must visit when travelling to the Marble Mountains is Linh Ung Pagoda. Linh Ung Pagoda is located on the top of Thuy Son, this is also an ancient temple facing the East, seeing the sea and the back of the pagoda leaning against the mountain, creating a solid foundation for the temple. The pagoda was built in the first half of the 17th century under the reign of King Hung Trieu Le.

  • Son Tra Peninsula

Located in Son Tra district, only 8km northeast of Da Nang city center, Son Tra Peninsula is easy to find. You can come here by many different means of transportation. The right time to go to Son Tra peninsula is from March to September, because during this period, the weather is dry, and there are rarely storms.

Radar Station 29

Radar 29, also known as Indochinese God’s eye, is an air traffic control station built by the US on the top of Son Tra mountain in the 60s. In the past, this radar station could control the whole Indochinese region, both Hong Kong and Hainan Island, China. When visiting Radar station 29, in addition to watching the vast sea, you also have a chance to stroll through the army’s helipad which is very interesting.

Son Tra Lighthouse

Son Tra Lighthouse, also known as Tien Sa Lighthouse, was built by the French in the 50s of the 20th century. Going to Son Tra lighthouse, you will have the opportunity to follow the winding road leading to the top. From there, you will see the whole East Sea and the brilliant city of Da Nang on the Han River.
